In the room you will find a heating system, an electronic key card and a work desk. Lots of options, tasty food. Besides, parking was available nearby...

Room was spotless with comfortable beds, professional staff. It was not far from Grattan Beach. There was plenty of food that was delicious. The service in general was first-class.
-
location & grounds secluded & nice garden for walk & relax to read etc.
the reception area could do with a makeover the carpet old I think

I thought the hotel was great but I would have got much better value for money had I booked on the hotel's own website they were offering a much better package. This is something I will be more vigilant about in the future.

The cleanliness of the bedroom and the food
Felt the bar staff could have been friendlier

Superb hotel about 1 mile from city centre. Top class food and wine. I loved the location of this hotel because its still a city hotel without all the noise and hustle. To top it all off, on arrival we were offered a free upgrade to one of the luxury suites! Happy days!

staff were very friendly and beds very comfortable
corridors were a bit narrow and pooky

Found this hotel to be excellent, beautiful garden to rear, very clean and spacious. Not too far from city centre where the craic was great (about 20 mins walk). The dining room was well lay-ed out ,plenty of staff on hand to look after you also 1st class breakfast. We also had dinner at the hotel a five course selection with great choices beautifully presented and the tastes were something else. Having tried some of the restaurants in the city we found the food in the hotel was actually the best . When I return to Galway again this is definitely the hotel I will be choosing.

We stayed here as it is a dog friendly hotel. The room was amazing....it opened out into the garden giving our dog lots of freedom. We ate dinner in the bar. The food was delicious and for breakfast there was lots of choice. The pool area is great.....our toddler loved it. Free parking also a plus point! We would definatly stay here again!
nothing was wrong with this hotel!

I was very disappointed with the delayed room service to our room. Found the /Lobby far too noisy last Saturday,6 August, 2011. I found the staff excellent at Reception, but waiter service was very poor in the dinning room. The location is good, but would have preferred better service. The signs for the Reception and the ladies toilets were not easy to find. A lot of people were confused with the name Restroom for the toilets and the location in Hotel. Afterall, we are Irish not American!!! Geraldine Crowe.

Its location and its grounds.
Decor is dated. No car parking spaces upon arrival due to a wedding party. Hotel difficult to find. Room was noisy due to proximity of the lift.
-
The bar with the good barfood, the cheerful atmosphere in the lobby lounge with live music. Nice breakfast buffet with excellent staff (no problem to get a real espresso coffee instead of the regular one).
Pool and "wellness"-area need a complete refurbishment: there is no relax room for the sauna, only 2 wooden, uncomfortable chairs in the quite noisy pool area. Didn't find pool area and sauna compartment as clean as they should for a 4* hotel.

The Hotel was in a good location, in quiet residentail area but at the same time only 2 km from the city centre. It had very nice path and a fountain at the back among trees, perfect for a little walk, and also tables outside if you wanted to have coffe etc. The hotel itself has elegant but warm interior, room was very tastefully designed, comfortable and very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent and we think a very good value for the money. The hotel has a swimming pool and spa, but we did not use those facilities (only stayed one night). We would definitely come back to this hotel and we recommend it to everyone.

We found the Ardilaun Hotel Excellent in every way, the staff were , very friendly and helpful, the hotel was very comfortable, the rooms were well decorated and very clean. The breakfast was lovely and plenty of choice and the dinner was superb.
The only drawback to this hotel was it was about ten kilometers from the city, it cost 12 euro in a taxi, but we discovered the bus goes from outside the hotel and only costs 1 euro 75 cent
